Updating lock screen text to ruim

If I re-tick the "Recent Notifications" toggle, then my Messages alerts/notifications come through just fine. This worked a few times, then stopped completely again! It seems more like a soft disable because there is a new message there that says "New Bluetooth connections have been turned off from Control Center". With Bluetooth "off" in Control Center and no Bluetooth icon in the top status bar, I then went into Settings -- Bluetooth. If I re-enable Bluetooth, alerts still come through, but if I disable Bluetooth from Control Center again....alerts are gone again. I never know if I am getting a text anymore and spend hours without looking at my phone. Not receiving any notifications at all from any apps.

So, I previously had issues with i OS 10.x on my i Phone 6S getting Message notifications when Bluetooth was enabled. I noticed that with i OS 11 Bluetooth seemed to keep re-enabling itself automatically somehow. I have gone through all of the notifications settings in the Settings area, and have made sure that my volume and ringer volume are the highest they can be. I've checked all their settings and tried rebooting, but it didn't work.

So, I previously had issues with i OS 10.x on my i Phone 6S getting Message notifications when Bluetooth was enabled. I noticed that with i OS 11 Bluetooth seemed to keep re-enabling itself automatically somehow. I thought the same thing, I updated to 11.01 this morning before posting this.

This is a fairly significant issue as I have no idea if I missed something on my phone without going in and checking all the relevant apps.

Under i OS 10 (and earlier), as soon as the i Phone is unlocked, the notification shows up (I use the slide-in-from-top mode for the Banner). I never know if I am getting a text anymore and spend hours without looking at my phone.

Settings – Touch ID & Passcode – Enter your phone passcode – scroll down the screen to turn Recent Notifications ON/Green.

I also submitted two Apple Feedback bug reports today to report my findings. I get the notifications to pop up on my lock screen, but they either disappear immediately or after the screen shuts off.

So if I am not looking at my phone right when I get the text, I have no way of knowing when I check the lock screen unless I open the phone. I have tried resetting my phone several times; sometimes it fixes the issue for an hour maybe, but then the issue comes back.

I rebooted my phone and notifications started working again. Send a new text i Message from another device and voila!

Touch ID & Passcode, enter your passcode, then scroll down to:"ALLOW ACCESS WHEN LOCKED":"Recent Notifications" (I had this unticked)With this unticked, I get zero alerts when the phone is locked. , I get the notification pop up and sounds/vibrations. Some combination of enabling/disabling Bluetooth via Control Center kills the notifications/alerts.
